Residents came to express concern over St. James’ church plans to expand their space. One person complained the council wasn’t paying enough attention to the plans, especially those relating to setbacks, adding a steeple, and parking.
“I think this whole thing needs more scrutiny,” warned one resident.
Others provided differing perspectives from the neighborhood, saying they may not be against the church expanding, but doing it by asking for a exception was bothersome.
