Capron Rescue Squad trustee sues over laptop issue

CAPRON – A member of the Capron Rescue Squad Board of Trustees has filed a lawsuit against two other board members, plus the chief of the squad, over an issue involving a laptop computer that was removed from the squad’s office earlier this year.
The suit was filed Nov. 2 on behalf of board member Sara Istad against the board chairwoman, Vanessa Eaton, board member Owen Costanza and squad chief Tony Stepansky. It seeks more than $50,000 in compensatory damages.
