The Chamber’s Mayoral Debate

I recently received a copy of the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce’s  newsletter from a Chamber member.  A debate between Fred Brereton and Karen Schrader is apparently on for 6:30PM, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Community Building.  The event is sponsored by the Chamber,  the Boone County Republican Party and the Boone County Democratic Party.   The newsletter does not specifically state whether the two mayoral candidates will be there nor does it really indicate that the “public” is invited.  Ask a Chamber member if you have those questions.
