11-28-2012 UPDATE: The text amendment request failed 0-4. The Special Use Request failed 1-3. The two requests are sent to County Board subcommittee on zoning.
The Boone County Zoning Board of Appeals will have a hearing on the request at 7 p.m. today in the county administration building, 1212 Logan Ave.
The request concerns a 59-acre parcel at 1473 and 1793 Flora Church, though only nine acres would be used for implementation of the special use. The land is in an A-1, agricultural preservation area district.
