Seven Republican candidates were at the township office at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 19, the first day to file nominating petitions, and all of them were deemed to have filed simultaneously.
Incumbent Pat Murphy and challenger Les Reid are running for supervisor, while incumbent Richard Lee is being opposed by Kenneth McBee for road commissioner.
Candidates for three upcoming vacancies on the township board of trustees who will be part of the lottery are incumbents Bill Robertson and Bob Turner along with challenger Kathy Grover.
Newcomers Richard Nelson and Cathy Ward filed later on Nov. 19 while Pat Mattison filed on Nov. 20.
