Beloit Town board member stands behind Chief Wilson

John Wilson, who is a defendant in multiple discrimination-related lawsuits and was recently the subject of a video deposition posted online in which he admits to using the ‘N’ word in the workplace and acknowledges being guilty of illegal and unethical conduct.

Anthony Smith, owner of Flying A.J. Towing Co., is suing Wilson and the town on claims that Wilson did not contract his company’s towing services because Smith is African American.

several current and former town police officers have taken legal action against Wilson.
