SEIU Healthcare Illinois ad blames Rauner for "dangerous" budget cuts
SPRINGFIELD - As the Illinois General Assembly continues to bicker over the FY 16 budget, the state employee union SEIU Healthcare released an emotional Internet ad blaming Governor Rauner for proposing home health care cuts for Medicaid patients.
"If we lose our home health care, he'll go ... to a nursing home, and he'll die in a nursing home," says Terry about Wade, one of the Medicaid patients featured in the ad.
Governor Rauner has no compassion, "especially for the working-class people," another says.
