DeKalb Mayor defends decision to withhold applicants' names

This is  apparently directly opposed to the Attorney General’s recent decision in the Richard Daley FOIA Case in Chicago.

the first reason is that … I lived by an ethics code of confidentiality.

second reason for my not turning the names over to the press is that the ordinance that regulates Aldermanic appointments does not require I do so
