Rock Valley College offers vacant trusteeship to Edward Copeland

I along with 21 other citizens applied for the vacant RVC trusteeship.  As noted  by letter below, the position is being offered to Edward Copeland.   Rev. K. Edward Copeland’s short vita information is shown below:

Rev. K. Edward Copeland is a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who has been blessed with many talents and skills. He is a musician, composer, preacher, and attorney. He is most widely known for his unique gift to teach the Bible with supernatural clarity and simplicity. He has a passion for helping ministers develop to their maximum potential.

Rev. K. Edward Copeland earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California and a Masters of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. He has taught for the National Baptist Convention of America, USA Inc. as well as district associations, conventions, and conferences throughout the nation and across denominational lines. He is a gifted trainer in the areas of evangelism, discipleship, youth ministry, sacred music, and men's discipleship.

He currently serves as pastor of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois where he lives with his beautiful wife Starla and their three children William Jibri ("God's hero"), Abeni ("We prayed for her arrival"), and Titus Omari ("Pleasant/New Beginning").
