Repeat of earlier article with updated details. Register Star’s Boone County Weekly added the state mandated qualification for public heath administrator. Plus details a special closed door meeting by the Board of Heath regarding personnel which was cancelled.
Look very close at the second “diamond” on the state qualifications. I am beginning to be less critical of the county on this one. Is an MBA “a graduate degree in a related field”? Or perhaps the problem is “years of full time administrative experience in public health”? Of course there still is this question: Does the employment contract between Ms. Seaworth and Boone County Health speak of the required certification/credentials? What do you think?
