He worked for the Boone County Sheriff’s Office for 32 years and retired as the lieutenant of operations. He was in charge of handling budgets, overseeing the emergency management program, scheduling, managing the fleet of vehicles, overseeing internal investigations, purchasing materials and securing grants.
