Capron’s newly elected village president, Ken Grzybowski, has presented the city-county coordinating committee with a report on how many people the Capron-based Belvidere/Boone County Food Pantry served in April and May.

Of the 1,379 people assisted in April, 853 had a city of Belvidere address, 314, Poplar Grove, 148, Capron, 33, unincorporated Garden Prairie, 19, Caledonia and 12 “other.”

Using this mentality, Belvidere should change Capron as well. I am sure Capron residents come to the Salvation Army, to apply for energy assistance, etc. How many not-for-profits exist in Belvidere that are used by Capron residents?
Can Capron prove the roads are being damaged? And can he prove the damage is from cars and not from trucks, poor construction, age, etc.? Sorry folks I ain't buying it
