Boone County has been presented with a last-minute opportunity to apply for a grant to pay for an electrical code to protect the dilbit pipeline that runs through the county.
But board members following an informal discussion May 15 agreed not to pursue the grant. They couldn’t vote on the matter because it was informational and not part of the meeting agenda…..
District 2 board member Cathy Ward ended the discussion when she pointed out Terrinoni “has pretty much indicated this is a waste of his time.” She added the board should “leave it at that.”
