Lot at stake with proposal for three-village police force - Courier News

 

22,500 study, and now it is an honest-to-goodness proposal on the table for the village boards of East and West Dundee and Sleepy Hollow to ponder: Should we combine the police forces in these three communities to save money?

The reported savings would be from $5.96 million a year to $4.69 million a year, with East Dundee saving the most, followed by West Dundee and then Sleepy Hollow. he proposal calls for West Dundee becoming the managing police department because it has the most residents, the largest police department and the best police station.
