Illinois Ranks Third in the Number of Foreclosure Filings in November

RealtyTrac, a foreclosure data firm, says Illinois had more than 16,000 foreclosure filings. Only California and Florida had more. In the Chicago metro area, DeKalb and Kane counties saw the biggest percentage jumps. Foreclosure filings tripled in both of those places compared with a year ago
