Boone is reporting 51 new cases of COVID-19. We are also saddened to report the death of a 90 year old from COVID-19. Today's case count represents cases reported into our electronic reporting system from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd through today, October 5th at 12:01 a.m. Illinois today reported 1,853 new cases, including 14 additional confirmed deaths.
You will notice a change in the way we are reporting tests performed. We will now only report the number of tests performed Saturday through Sunday for the previous week.
