Eagle Scout project means gazebo for downtown Poplar Grove | Belvidere Daily Republican
The structure will be located at the Veterans Memorial Park. Across Poplar Grove Road is the historic hotel, the oldest building in town, constructed in the 1840s. Also in that area is the barber shop that served as village hall for many years.

Any donor contributing $100 or more will have their name or business name put on a plaque that will be at the gazebo for all to see, he said.
