Six townships to have electric aggregation referendums April 9 | Belvidere Daily Republican

 

Six of the nine townships in Boone County will have referendums on electric aggregation as part of the April 9 general election.

They are Bonus, Boone, Poplar Grove, Leroy, Manchester and Spring. Caledonia and Flora townships ….

Voters in unincorporated Boone County rejected their referendum in March 2012. The county board, should it choose to do so, won’t be allowed to have a second vote until February 2014 at the earliest….

In Bonus Township there is a contest for road commissioner where incumbent Donald Gustafson is being opposed by Matthew Feltes.

Also in Bonus Township six people are vying for four seats on the board of trustees. They are incumbents Robert Bahling, Fay Ellwanger, Dan Mickey and Jim Turner, along with newcomers Wendy Stewart and Todd Walberg.
