Facebook has become an increasingly popular outlet for citizens to join a cause or express an opinion.
That is certainly been the case with the budget battle going on in Madison. And pages for and against the governor are growing.
Last week, a Journal Sentinel story reported on a Facebook site called "Boycottt Scott Walker Contributors." The site had more than 9,000 followers. On Monday, more than 19,000 people were following it.
Another site, called Protect Wisconsin Families, has 54,700 followers.
On the other side of the debate, a Facebook page in support of Walker has nearly 6,000 followers.
In addition, Walker's official Facebook page has nearly 61,000 followers.
