The strange thing here is the historical connection which the newspaper is drawing.
The Illinois city where Barnes & Noble can trace it's origins no longer is home to one of its bookstores. Though the store had been in the community just 18 years, its history stretches back much further. According to Wheaton author Mary Ann Phemister, Charles M.
