The offender will then appear before a panel of community members. After the group interviews the offender, the panel will recommend conditions that must be met to complete the program. These conditions may include completing community service, obtaining a G.E.D., agreeing to random drug screens, becoming employed and paying restitution to the victim.
Once the conditions are met, the case will be dismissed. If they aren’t, the felony charge will be prosecuted in court.
