Chrysler makes critical change on Compass, Patriot - Rockford, IL - Rockford Register Star

the newest versions of the Compass and Patriot both will get six-speed automatic transmissions that will result in quicker takeoffs, less noise in the cabin and better cruising. The new transmissions also will boost the EPA highway ratings up four miles per gallon to 30 mpg.
