Cleanup of flooded west wing of Statehouse to continue till Tuesday

sprinkler pipe burst during early morning hours Friday, and several floors had to be evacuated later in the day to allow for the cleanup.

A damaged pipe was responsible, said Dave Blanchette, spokesman for the Capital Development Board. He estimated the pipe leaked for 10 or 11 minutes before a contractor discovered it in the early morning hours.
